Robbie came into my store today! I was happy to see him and Patty (and little Mathew, who's not so little anymore). I was hoping we'd get to go to lunch today and hang out a little, but he had errands to run. So we rainchecked for next week.
I finally got some confirmation on scheduling for September. My manager gave me a preview of his "rough draft" for the month. The good news is I got off Labor Day Weekend, so I get to go visit Jes in Phoenix. The Bad news is I didn't get the time to go to Vegas with Cicie and my boss is giving me serious grief about the time I'm going to need to go to school this semester. I'll admit that I am being demanding about the time I need for school. I need Mondays off, Wednesday nights off, a weird split shift on Tuesdays to accommodate a midday class, and Thursdays off. I'll admit that's a lot to ask, but on the same token Cingular is not my carear it's just my job. If they can't adjust to my school schedule I'll find somebody else who will and I'll have to quit.
I'm feeling a renewed vigor to return to school this semester. I'm hopeful that I'll actually get something started this year.
Thought of the Day:
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.... mull that one over.
